Any tool for Cut/Join MKV files?

Hi,   I'm a beginner and make several DVD backup with MEGUI x264 + acc backup in MKV files. Since they aren't encode using vfw, I can figure out how to join/cut then in VD or VDMod. Are there any tool available for cut/join mkv files?

Only without preview, you can do it with mkvmerge.

You might be able to do it with a DirectShow based editor (not sure if there are any though) or GraphEdit.

Mkvtoolnix can do this. In mmg you switch to global, enable splitting, and enter your size or time (it splits at the nearest keyframe, so it wont be exact).

where did you find that append option?
