XVid Audio Sync Problems, Help ?
What is the best way to resolve XVid-gt;DVDR audio sync problems.
I have read all the guides and tried all methods.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Source: XVid of Treasure Planet + Stereo Audio (1CDR ~730mb) Audio is Standard Mpeg Layer 3
Destination: NTSC DVDR VBR
------------------------------------------------------------------
Video is encoded with tmpeg at 2 pass VBR @ 29.97fps
(cause its the easiest to setup)
I'm sure i can do it with CCE but not sure how.... anyway...
The audio is off by 0.3s according to virtual dub. Both methods of audio extraction have been tried. Direct Stream copy and full process mode. offsetting the audio with headache doesnt make a different (apart from getting worse)
I never seem to have a problem with DivX only XVid????
Is there a nice way to sort the audio out. I know lots of people have the same problem with XVid conversion.
Any help appriciated.
since you have to encode the audio anyway, drop the wave into a audio editing program, and fix it up there.
Enf...
Unfortnatley that isnt any real help. I know to use and audio app to convert it.
Its says the audio is out by 0.3s (According to virtual dub) even if i add 0.3s to the audio its still isnt right ????
I know other people have this problem. Just never seen a method that works properly. The audio is extracted with vritual dub and encoded with tmpeg to mp2. Other Xvid i have done are 0.1s out. But they seem ok and in sync. |
