What resolution should I encode my DVD's in for my Pocket PC?

Hi guys, what resolution should I encode my DVD's for my Pocket PC? The screen resolution is 320x240. I want to encode with the aspect ratio intact. I want a compromise between speed and quality, most likely VBR then. What bitrate is also ideal? Thanks!

320/240 = 4/3 = 1,33

the quality will depend on the max filesize you want and you'll have to use 2-pass for doing this ... I think ^^

Since a DVD's aspect ratio is 16:9, what resolution should I scale it down to best for my screen's fixed resolution?

(320 * 9) / 16 = 180

So you should try 320 x 180
