problem b frames with xvid 22032003
hello .
i just wanted to try b frame with this version so i putmaximum b frames=3 instead of -1 (activation)
now, impossible to read the file with wmplayer or tcmp .
there is a problem .
thinks for your help .
i used gmc with b frame and chroma motion,
b frame threshold=0 ( anybody can explain me this option please)
i read last guide .
Install Nic's DirectShow filter
i did it but i understand now. i saw in a topic that
i must not use modulated with b frames.
i'm testing now.bye
the problem continues.sad
you better read the stickies and then post some info ...
that's ok but i have really a problem . i know well divx 5 but less xvid. But, b frames don't work for me .
it's possible to see the result with vdub but not with player .
i did 2 paths with these parameters :
ultra high
h 263
fourcc xvid . i have rhe dsfilter
vhq offmaximum bframe +3
b frame quantizer ratio 150
b frame quantizer offset 100
b vop compatibility actived
and that doesn't work .
thinks
since you can decode in vdub, the prob is in the directshow part used by the players.
which build are you using?
what container (avi/ogm) are you using? if you use ogm, open at the ogg splitter properties and disable 'always enable all streams'.
would have been nice, if you would have posted this information. give and take at the lowest level.
@ chris25frfr
how it gets decoded by DirectShow can u attach a picture off the graph thats used playing back this avi ?
sorry ,i'm newbie with xvid so perhaps i have forgotten something .
i use the version 22032003 (koepie) and the decoder nic xvid 23022003
it's a avi file .
i 'm going to do a new test and come back here.
for the moment, without b frames , the file is good but with b frame, problem .
see you later . |
