IFOEdit can't edit commands past 99?
I need to edit a menu pre-command in the VIDEO_TS.IFO for quot;Old Schoolquot;, but for some reason when I right-click any commands numbered 100 or higher nothing happens (99 and below all work fine).
I haven't tried this with any other movies so maybe this is just an anomoly... Does IFOEdit lock out certain commands for any reason? In other words, could this just be a coincidence? Or does something special (i.e., a bug) happen after 99?
Thanks for any help!
P.S. - I am able to double click on the command to bring up the HEX, but I don't know how to interpret the HEX values. Is there a good resource for reading up on this?
Sounds like a bug. You can look here for the commands, but it's a little daunting. What I would suggest is to pick a command from 1 to 99 to use for encoding. Write down the command there (or better yet, double click and write down the hex values) so you can restore it later. Now right click on it and choose the command you want. Double click on it to get the hex value so you can enter it into the command you want. A little cumbersome, but much faster than learning the commands in hex.
Thanks, that's a really good idea! Should I send a message about that bug anywhere?

What is your command in question and what do you want it to be? Is it a change in value or a jump command?

I've put your post in a file for Derrow, if and when he returns to this project. |
