TMPGEnc Probs with P3Package.dll sometimes, occurred, problems, message

Hi Everyone,

I have been happily using tmpgenc 2.510 for ages now encoding lots of avi's, with no problems at all.
Out of the blue, with nothing i can think i've done (but i'm sure i'll find out diff ;-)) it now gets partway through then movie encode and the sticks this error message up.

quot;Result: Read error occurred at address 01A9795A of module 'P3Package.dll' with FFAD048E Dealing time: 00:24:58quot;
or similar with the time and sometimes the address code changing.

I've tried uninstalling/re-installing the prog along with most of my other progs, but alas to no avail.
I've searched all over on the forums for an answer but only can find where it won't load p3p at the start one's.

I'm running an xp2200 with 768m of 266 with a gf4 graphics on Win XP.

If anyone has any idea of what i've done wrong and any suggestions of how to fix it i'm all ears :-). This is the last chance saloon before hd flattening and re-in XP time, so fingers crossed.

sounds like your computer isnt stable?

grab a program called memtest86 and let it run, see what happens.

I have fixed the prob for the time being though, dunno how, but installed 2.57 then updated in the same folder with 2.58 and so far it seem to have worked fine.

As for the machine being unstable i think it's more likely the operator ;-)
