DVD2one seamlessly changed the font type B to type C?

I had

Title 1 with subtitle's font type A
Title 2 with subtitle's font type B

I seamlessly combined title 1 and title 2 with the DVD2one.

Now, the final DVD had the Title 1 with the font type A, and font type C. The Font type B was turned into C.

Font Type C was so ugly, i hate to throw away the original DVD with title 1 and title2.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

What do you mean with font type?

Font of the subtitles?

yes, subtitle's font type

These two Titles weren't from the same movie, were they?

Two titles were from the same movie, but from different DVD's.

Title 1 came from the one   DVD that has the episode 1.
Title 2 came from the other DVD that has the episode 2.

Then one can only surmise that the two DVDs had different subtitle formats - and DVD2One settled on a default subtitle format (Probably green?) in order to be able to successfully merge the two titles seamlessly.

You could try the following to make the subtitles more eye appealing:

- Open the first Title's original .IFO (most likely quot;VTS_01_0.IFOquot;) in IfoEdit.

- Select quot;VTS_PGCITIquot; gt;gt; VTS_PGC_1quot;

- Choose quot;Subtitle Colorquot; gt;gt; quot;Copy Colors From This PGCquot;.

- Open your edited version of the .IFO.

- Select quot;VTS_PGCITIquot; gt;gt; VTS_PGC_1quot;

- Choose quot;Subtitle Colorquot; gt;gt; quotaste Colors Into This PGCquot;.

- Save the .IFO and .BUP (make backups beforehand, just in case).

You could also try joining the titles using the non seamless method. the playback will not be affected.

Hi!

Although your suggestion certainly should overcome the noted problem, the quot;Non-seamlessquot; method creates two Titlesets and, therfore, two separate sets of chapters. The quot;Advanced Navigation Modequot; is supposed to make this structure quot;invisiblequot; to the user, but is not always successful...

(BTW, the remarkable lack of postings at the sub-forum you moderate can only be interpreted as supporting my contention that the program is and continues to be wonderful ;gt;} )

Yes,it does create two titlesets,but personaly,I have never had quot;non seamlessquot; interupt playback,or fail, at all. Dvd2ones join feature is the best I have used,but I never even try the quot;seamlessquot; method as it is only usable with compatable files.

I agree. in fact,the official forum is a very quiet place too.the vast majority of issues I do see are caused by hardware conflicts or running other rippers at the same time, not by the program itself

the only addition to the program I would like to see is a deep analysis or better quality mode for longer movies.

Two titles were from the same movie, but from different DVD's.

My presumption is that these would be two compatible files...

oh,yes,absoloutly.
otherwise the process would have failed completely,not just an issue with subs.

We are glad that you still drop in from time to time, notwithstanding your retirement after 24,900 odd posts.
