Changing bbMPEG Output Settings

My questions is I changed the output settings on bbMPEG to Program stream MPEG-1 ( double clicked it). As it is stated in the dvd2svcd read me file, so that I won't have to use the header trick with TMPGENC. However my cd images were 936 amp; 942. Of course way to big to put on a 700(800)cdr. That said my Muxed files are the correct sizes of 813 amp; 819? I have not made any images in awhile since I have always taken my muxed files and ran them through TMPGENC for the header trick. But this is a second step and I lose my chapters. But if I don't do the header trick I can't play it on my stand alone dvd player or friends and relatives dvd players. I was so glad to see that dvd2svcd added this feature: but what did I do wrong and why is the Cd image so much bigger than the muxed file. Thanks in Advance, Will

DVD2SVCD uses bins and cues for the image format - these can often be bigger than 700MB because they contain extra information about the was the disc should be burned (I made that up, I don't know what the extra data is)but you will find when you come to burn them (use CDRWin for this) they should fit.

That said, the sizes you state seem way too big - even taking into account the extra info in bin files  -you need to check your bitrate tab and make sure you understand how it works - it can be confusing at first.

Thanks for replying, but I am well aware of the things you mentioned.
