Hello...I am at a loss  to find even what I'd be looking for re: the link above.

I have a VHS that I converted over to DVD via an ADS Tech - Instant DVD 2.0. The audio does NOT work on the stand alone dvd player, but only on the PC.

the audio is ??? MPEG1 2ch (0xC0) . What do I need to do to convert this audio so that when I burn the video quot;withquot; this audio it will also be present on a burned DVD which the audio will play on the/a stand alone DVD player.

Thank you  for your extreme patience with me on this matter. I hope I get no quot;strikesquot; against myself due to my ignorance.

I doubt you'll receive a strike for this, it would be like throwing a hand grenade to a drowning man, instead of a life jacket!

What I will do, is point you to the Forum Rules, so you'll know that cross posting is contrary to one of them. To keep the forum organized and as streamlined as possible, it's important to keep responses to specific requests localized in one thead, not strung hither and yon all across the forum real estate. Good titles are a must; some members will look at a bogus title, shrug, and browse right on past it.

I'll close this thread, but anyone having ideas can access the one that's currently running in the DVD Authoring Forum from the link within this thread.

Suggestions:Go to your original thread, and edit its title
Review the advice given there and see if any of it requires additional input from you, it's only good netiquette to do so. This will also bring your thread back to the top of the board, possibly renewing interest in your problem, or bringing it to the attention of members that only drop in to scan for new topics.
Supply any new information that you can, even if it's details of failures, these too, can be helpful. They also give proof of effort, another important piece of the puzzle here at Doom9!
