DVD2SVCD will not run Microsoft, Internet, message, running, problem

Believe me, I have searched the forum to find an answer to my problem, but couldn't find anything....

I am running Win XP home and am trying to get the bundle to run on my PC.

However when I double click the icon I just get this message:

DVD2SVCD.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I am also asked, if I want to submit this report to Microsoft, that's it.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to solve this problem?
I am running Norton Internet security and have noticed that I could only download with it turned of. This however does not affect the program.
