SoftEncode 5.1 crashing...

Is there some specific reason that SoftEncode crashes about 15 seconds into encoding on an XP machine?  It can read the six waves that BeSweet produces, and can also play them but it refuses to encode them!  Why is this and im sorry if this has been asked a million times but i could not find suffiicient data in the archives to solve my problem.  Thanks.

cheq that.  Softencode wont encode anything at all.  It quits after 16 seconds of gradually degrading audio.

Something is clashing with it. I have the same problem on my computer. My sons works fine. Both machines use XP home.

Well i was able to get a hold of the 5.1 plug in pack for ACID 4.0 Pro.  It seems to be working extremely well so far!!! Maybe after I re-install my system I will give SoftEncode another chance just to see its full potential.
