just thought to mention about Scorpion King, is it only for me?

I did the Scorpion King with IC7 keeping everything and all seemed to work out fine. Just when I tried browsning the menu the bonus section had no text at all. I have tried it like 3 more times and still with the same result.
So I thought why not try the DVDshrink and so I did and all worked perfectly (4.35) was the final size), even the bonus menu....in my opinion, both from my monitor and the TV I saw no difference between IC7 and DVDshrink so I wonder if it is really needed to wait like 4 times longer  to transcode the movie...

I know about the fight between the 3 holy programs....just wondering if anyone has tried Scorpion King with the menus and got it totally successful

Not on Scorpion King, but on 8Mile a similar problem occured to me:
The encoded result had active buttons on some menus, but NOT text. That was when testing with Power DVD. I checked the original, and PowerDVD showed  missing text there too!!!
As I knew the text WAS there, I burned, and everything was showing perfectly on the standalone.
Happened once again on another movie, same results: perfect on standalone, invisible active buttons on PC.
Oh well... nobody's pefret

yes i had the same with bourne identity....i was flipping to see the subpictures were missing in menus....but then in original also missing....so i burned and it worked ok  its weird but i prefer to have it this way and not the other way around....after all....on stand alone is most important.

I have done 3 movies so far and counting, ripped off the warnings and other unwanted stuff. And that is thanks to IC7 and dvd shrink, but also DVD2one.

oh man,,,, I´m going crazy. Now when I thought I did a good job it was almost shit. Sure it worked on one of my stand alone players... but not the second one. out of The Bourne Identity, Scorpion King and The One (jet Li) only The One works on my other standalone player wich is a top notch Harman Kardon DVD 1

'with the The One I first made it in IC7 and due to the filesize probs with that movie I did later it again in dvd2one 1.1.1

'With Scorpion Kin I did it with DVDshrink 1.03

'Bourne Identity only IC7

All of them used the same media but do you think it can really be the program?.... I did remove the warning texts on all of the movies  and other menu languages without The One since it was only in english.

hmmm, Now I burnt Bourne on a +RW and the title logo wouldn´t play, but if I press the menu on the remote then it´s working. GOiNg cRaZy and it was made in dvd2one 1.1.2
