Scenarist subtitle newbie question

Hello.
I've backed up the Blue Crush DVD using the big 3.
The movie only has one subtitle stream (Eng) and I would like to replace it in Scenarist with a .sub that I found on the web.
Anyway of doing this (since scenarist doesn't import .sub files directly).

Hi ahgc and wellcome to the forum.

You can replace that stream or add just add it to a new subtitle track (although in IfoUpdate you have to copy subpicture tables).
Because scenarist only accepts its own format, you have to convert the Sub to a .sst file. I think this can be done in MaestroSBT (although maestroSBT never worked for me , so I make a small app that can create .sst files. See thread Subtitle safe title area in Maestro)
