Any PII laptop owners able to run divx files?
Just want to see if a PII 266 MHz laptop is enough to run divx files up to 640x480. I do have a DVD card installed that along with my DVD drive lets me play DVDs with no problem but I don't think this card will offer any help playing divx files.
I'm pretty sure you won't be able to.
Hmm... try VLC vlc/
DivX 5.xx files were noticably choppy on my old dually Celeron (366s @ 550mhz, 100mhz bus) machine, so you're probably SOL for newer DivX codecs. |
