MODERATORS...The time has come...

There are so many questions now being asked about the dts format...splitting, joining, upsampling, downsampling, music CDs, homemade music DVDs, etc.,...It looks like it may be a good thing to have a dts-only FAQ of some sort.

The upmix thread by EoH is long, HIGHLY informative, and the absolute best on the web, but it is sort of overwhelming and confusing if trying to nail down one aspect of it.

Even the DVD questions require a ton of searching be done, and it seems that many methods are employed to do the same thing.

And it doesn't help that the dts activity/home-tinkering/information/development has exploded.

Would it be possible to have a dts-only FAQ? I'm not sure how you guys put these things together, but I realize it would be a monumental task.

Or maybe there is an off-site FAQ I'm not aware of...?

You know, I knew about that, read it several times, but forgot completely about it this AM.

Suggestions for additions and comments on the DTS faq are always welcome here.

Thanks, Kpex. I missed that one. Even though I use the search a LOT on this forum, I miss as many as I get cuz the answers are sometimes buried deep in threads.
