Blank screen with audio

This is my second post on this problem, sorry to post again but this time there are a lot of developments.

Last time I said I had a Video problem of no picture (please see my last post for more info) but now I know there is a picture part, its just blank or black.
Last time I encoded a SVCD from already decyripted vob files (CLADDVD), this time I encoded it from a DIVX movie and had the same problem. When I play back the SVCD it has sound but a black or blank picture rather than the movie. I have a P-4 1.7g, 80gig HHD, 64m gforce4, 512mb DDR. I also have a standalone DVD player supporting several formats including SVCD.

At first glance it seemed that DVD2SVCD had not done the TMPGEnc conversion of the video but on a closer inspection I noticed a mpg file from the TMPGEnc conversion, so i played it in power DVD and found there was not picture before in was merged with the audio. I also checked that it encoded the video through the process of encoding.

I know that even if i reripp the DVD with DVD2SVCD, it will do the same thing can some help please. below is the dvd2svcd_log.txt file contents:WNASPI32.DLL 4.5.7.1008

No one seems to be able to help me on this subject (or wanting to help) so I had to spend days to try and figure out the problem myself. the only response I got was basicly quot;we wont help you because you used a different ripper (CLADDVD) than that included with dvd2svcdquot;. I sorry if this upsets people but that was a hopeless attitude.

I had to rebuild my computer(and it had only been rebuild 3 weeks earlier) download different versions of the software included with dvd2svcd to try to isolate the problem, pay for more updated software. As I said before I am only a newbie at SVCD converting.

I know that this software has been made and given freely and I don't expect a high level of support for the program dvd2svcd because of that fact. but i find it hard to believe that nobody had any ideas at all to fix this problem (not even the makers of the program, who did all the coding and should know there program well) and no ideas just to try that may have fixed it.

I am a little bit upset, not because nobody solved my problem, but because nobody even tried. If I got 10 replies from peole tring to help and it did not fix the problem I would have felt happy that at least people tried. Now I will tell you what the solution was, its so simple I feel like pulling my hair out because nobody helped me.

I stated that I was making backups of DVD's to both divx and now i wanted to do it by SVCD also. the problem was that the divx software (I think the program that made the avs files) was not compatiable with dvd2svcd's processes and that dvd2svcd would defalt to these older programs(i don't know why). I uninstalled the Divx software and it fixed the problem. the reason i have posted this is because i did everything the right way on this forum in respects to installation, and checking the Qamp;As and checking previous posts. thus this is a new problem no one was willing to work out with me. I had to do it ALL myself! But other people having the same problem should not suffer because of the forums slackness.(discussions posted after my post have about 10,15 or more replies but this particular post had none, it seems the moderators and high knowledge users are more concerned about having a discussion rather than solving someones problem). poor effort peoples!

And what exactly does this forum owe you?

If there were people that could help they would have.  Obviously nobody could at the time.

Your attitude is extrememly poor and if you want any future help I suggest you change it quickly.

Nobody owes you anything here.  On the same point nobody is ignoring your post.  If we don't have anything to try you are saying we should reply and say quot;sorry I can't helpquot; just so you know we looked at the thread?

This thread is closed.  Now you have a choice either leave or change the attitude.
