Avisynth:caught an access violation

I am getting the following error in my encoded mpeg:
Avisynth:caught an access violation at 0x067f1d1a,
attempting to read from 0x0b0aed2d
I have been trying to use DVD2SVCD to encode a movie. The time where this error happens is always the same - it is approximately half-way through the second vob. I can watch the whole movie just fine from the hard drive. If I open the .avs file in wmp, the whole movie plays just fine (although slow of course).
Other info:
Soyo Dragon+
Athlon XP1800+
2x 256MB Crucial PC2100 DDR
Visiontek GeForce 3 Ti200
WD 60GB Hard Drive
I am using onboard sound/NIC
I posted this similar post in the DVD2SVCD group and received mostly confusion from other members.
I did run memtests...using Memtest and found no errors.
I am using an CCE CRC-Error crack - the help file for which says
-={ CodeFusion Runtime }=-
Generator: CodeFusion Wizard
There is another one for CCE out there, although I would need to post in the CCE group to find out.
Thanks for any help - I will try any suggestions that don't involve giving my computer to you ;^) hehe
