according Pinnacle this is fixed with the 7.02 patch:

InstantCopy 7.02 patch

Note : This patch can only be used with InstantCopy version 7. Do NOT use it for Instant CD/DVD or older version of InstantCopy. Run the patch only on an existing InstantCopy 7 installation.What´s new:

- AUDIO_TS folder is added for compatibility issues with various stand alone players

- Volume Label on destination disc (editable in customize disc dialog)

- Layer break on copied DVD gets removed

- Fixed problems when removing sub pictures and audio streams

- Fixed problems while creating overlay fixed (SID Error)

- Fixed problems with parallel writing to multiple CD Burners

- Fixed rare burning error quot;Buffer not found (x)quot;

- Some recorders are added

Interesting is the one on removing sub pictures and audio streams, wonder what they actually fixed there

when you removed audio/subs, the streams info was deleted from IFO's so the menu's did not work properly when you selected the streams cos the mapping was a mess

now it's fixed  and it leaves the original stream mapping but just removes it from the VOB

just posted this info in a new thread to assure it was not lost as the other is getting quite long. The date of the 7.02 patch as mentioned nowadyas on the pinnacle website (4 april) is indeed different from the one when I made the other post (believe it was 28 March). Is a different version ? just to be sure I downloaded the one with new date (4 april) and compared it with the one downloaded before (28 of March) and compared the files with wincommander. They are exactly same. So don't worry

Had the patch installed.  Formatted.  Reinstalled IC.  Now the patch can't find IC.  Tried a few different things, including the shortcut trick.  What gives?

All a patch does is replace certain files in the installed folder. If you formatted and installed IC again, you need to apply the patch again.

Yeah, that's the problem.  I CAN'T install the patch.  It says it can't find IC.

The other 7.02 thread has a post from mrbass about this. It seems the patch needs the desktop shortcut to find IC.

How'd you format?  I ask, because I just recently revamped my system, using the Fdisk utility on my system restoration disk, and I was able to reinstall both the boxed version of IC as well as the update patch.  If you only uninstalled IC, it tends to leave files behind (my pet peeve with quite a few software items, which is the reason behind my having quot;nukedquot; my hard drive to clear all that junk out of there) which may have confused things when you reinstalled.

Yep, I used FDISK as well.  Formatted and installed everything on a clean slate.  Still havn't gotten it to update, no big deal I suppose though.  DVD95Copy has been doing some amazing work for me.
