strange splitting problem (efoedit + ingtools) cake, like, copyright, problem, layout

i'm splitting gundam wing v2 on 2 discs.. since it isn't a multi_pgc title this is a piece of cake.. or atleast that's what i thought...

the layout of the disc is like this:

video_ts_xx to vts_07_xx are menus and copyright screens
vts_07_xx is the first episode
vts_08_xx is the second episode
vts_09_xx to vts_14_xx are trailers
vts_15_xx is the third episode episode
vts_16_xx is the fourth episode episode
vts_17_xx is the fifth episode episode
vts_18_xx is a black screen that runs 9 secs
vts_19_xx is the authored by bladiebla screen

now i just deleted the big vobs of vts_15, vts_16 and vts_17 but left the small files like vts_15_0.bup, vts_15_0.ifo and vts_15_0.vob.. aftert that i did a quot;get vts sectorsquot; in ifoedit and made an image with ingtools...

when i mount this image and run it with powerdvd i get an quot;unknown formatquot; error and when burned my player won't play it and ejects the disc..

the strange thing is that when i open the video_ts.ifo in filemode in powerdvd everything works fine..

i've split countless of anime dvds like this but this one is being a bitch (:

anyone any idea what could be the problem?
