I wouldnt say that I am an expert when it comes to DVD ripping, far from it infact but from trying to encode the same thing 25 times now with the same result no matter what setting I use and from the advice of others I have one question.
Does DVD2SVCD switch from even field to odd field if the source does when de-interlacing?
I ask this because I have a DVD box set which I have menntioned many times with no one being able to help me. In this it seems that the video changes field every so often and DVD2SVCD doesnt pick up on this and I get a stuttery playback where the switch takes place.
did you force IVTC? I used to do that with concert, music dvds to get rid of the jerkiness.
my source is PAL, I am from the UK. That if for NTSC only init?
I would answer, but I am not the creator of DVD2SVCD.
Too bad since there are so many people here that might be able to help you, but only one creator and he doesn't come around here much since he is so busy with the next version.
Oh well.
Can you tell me how this post doesn't violate the forum rule #9?
