along came a spider

I have tried several times to back up Along  Came A Spider. I have tried DVD2SVCD versions 1.07 and 1.08 with both TMPEnc and CinemaCraft. The 2nd CD .bin is always too big to fit onto a CD. I tried changing the CD size to 640 Meg, didn't help.

I am new at this so flame away if you like.

Being new is no excuse for not reading the stuck posts.  They are stuck for a reason.

@mikepod I just did that movie and i didnt have 1 problem with it tho i hear some people have, i'm wondering if because i did the NTSC version and your version is pal??

The file size being wrong on the last CD seems to be a common problem when using TMPG, but not with CCE.

When you encoded with CCE did you start completely over or did you use Recover?
If you used Recover and changed the encoder either way(CCE to TMPG, TMPG to CCE) this is the source of one problem.
Whenever you change encoders start completely over, even to the point of making sure files are erased in the target directory.

There have been a few other posts on this with TMPG.  Do a search and see if you can find them.  I will do the same and see if I can't find a solution.

Mark

I started the conversion from scratch.
I have the NTSC version.

The movie was not worth all this effort. I was just curious if I had uncovered a bug.

DVD2SVCD is an awesome program that allows me to do what I want to do without spending weeks learning the conversion process. Bug reports will make a great program even better!
