Hi all,
I have a problem, and thought DVD RB could help me out.
I got some DVDs that don't play well on some of my dvd players, because somewhy the audio tracks do 'clip' while playing back. I know it's weird, but the signal outputted by my player is full of awful clipping noise in 'loud' scenes.
I could correct this by simply demuxing the main movie, reducing the audio track by 10db in an audio editor, and muxing the movie back.
However, is it possible (with dvd rebuilder?) to extract the complete audio tracks (pcm) of all movies, menu..., so I can perform a -10d volume editing, and then do a rebuild with all the menus and chapters still in place?
Any hints would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Iosef
That is not possible with DVD-RB, it can only take the original AC3 directly from the source .VOBs. The 'Big 3' method will allow you to do what you want, but is more complex.
