Anyone buy these Sonic disks for .26/each? like, before, things, price

I've bought these before but never for this cheap of a price.  They are like .26 each for 4x DVD-R disks with the coupon.  That's a hell of a deal b/c these are the ones that have that MUST001 ID code.  Just curious if anyone else has used them.  I spotted this deal over at FW here. stay away.  all i know is i got a 50 pack of verbatim 4x for $40 and i'd do it again over those crap things where your data will end up chipping off in metal flakes.  what's better?  a few cents or peace of mind that your discs are durable and reliable?

hectic, wow, where did the dye chip off?  I haven't had any such issues.  My guess is you bought your Sonic disks from one of the other online sites other then shop4tech. Apparently, from what i've read the other sites sell the Sonic disks which are garbage and have a longten code or an AN31 code.  But from all the forums i've read from almost everyone who has had the quot;MUST..001quot; code purchased from shop4tech work great.  I haven't even had a coaster with one of these.  I just can't believe how they can sell these so cheap b/c of how great they work.

I wouldn't waste my time and effort using cheapo disks like these...I never even heard of this brand before.
If they're selling them so much cheaper than all the other brands, more than likely there's a reason for it.

I've used this before too and never had any kind of issue.  The disks really work great.  For the price, they are an amazing bargain.  I was getting them for .33 each and missed this last deal, but there's a new coupon code which is good until July 31st, quot;WEEKLY10quot; which will get you 10% things from the shop4tech website, including these Sonic disks.  Brings the price to like .25 a disk.
Atreides93,hundreds of people literally over at FatWallet have used these disks and all of them agree they're excellent.  As long as they have the quot;MUST001quot; code which the ones from shop4tech do, b/c everyone who bought them got that code, then the disks will be excellent.  As far as price goes, prodisc are really cheap too and people swear by them.  I prefer these Sonics to Prodisc though.

The metal certainly won't flake off, simply because these are dvds and the reflective layer is located between to polycarbonate discs. cd-rs flake off, though.

Nevertheless, I would avoide noname products (like this one) for data safety and longevity reasons.

I'd have to respectfully disagree with smiller about avoiding quot;no namequot; disks as what disks really have a name? TDKs aren't usually TDK's, Verbatims certainly aren't Verbatims, Fuji aren't Fujis, and a pretty respectible company like Memorex uses Prodisc which are almost as inexpensive as these Sonics.  I purchased a 50 pack of these sonic disks Tuesday and I'll have them by Friday.  I've read nothing but positive things from them so i'm not really going out on a limb.  Got them for $15.30/Shipped with shop4techs coupon code quot;WEEKLY10quot; good for another couple of days, until July 30th.  

I'll post my results after i've burned about half of them.
