OGM double-sized?

I don't know how I did it, but all my OGM's amp; MKV's are being played at double their resolution.   

This only happens if I play them with Media Player Classic or WMP 6.4.  If I use the new WMP9 (or open them with VirtualDubMOD), the files play at their original size.

The wierd thing is, when in double size, even the PROPERTIES reflect the resolution.  When playing in MPC or WMP6.4, I go to FILE/PROPERTIES, and sure enough the resolution is 1280 x 960, not 640 x 480.

I've tried numerous re-installs with old/new versions, plus I've ensured the media plays at ZOOM 100% in the Options.  Nothing works.

Maybe directvobsub has the double-size option on (for better subtitle rendering) and is loading in those players but not in WMP9?
