When Using BeSweet v1.3b12 via the GUI, there are two ways to find the maximum gain automatically (i.e. normalise):
1. In the Azid 1 screen:
Select Overall Output Configuration, Auto Find Maximum Gain
2. In the BeSweet screen:
Select OTA (Overall Track Adjustments) Options, Auto Gain (but not post gain)
For a trial run on did on one DVD audiotrack, they gave similar but not identical results.
Which - if any - is better?
thanx
JB
Azid is faster (but available only for ac3 inputs), OTA is better (has a clips smoother).
and they could be used together to achieve partial normalization.
something like -azid( -g max ) -ota( -g 0.95 ) will give you 95% of maximal gain. |
