I have AthlonXP 1800+, and 768MB RAM.
my maximum encoding rate is about 1.2
why?
I use the defaults of DVD2SVCD.

There are way too many variables that would figure into that to give you an answer. I have seen people that have 1800s that go slower and some that go faster. If you would like to do a faster encode and stil get good results check out this thread: showthread.ph...hreadid=13435. I use the specs in this thread and I can do a 2 hour movie in about 5 hours with a Athlon 1.2.If you would like a even better looking movie and dont care about time then check out this thread: showthread.php?s=amp;threadid=22696
This is only a guess since you didnt post more detailed information, but i'm guessing you are doing pal movies if thats the case your speeds will be slower then someone doing NTSC you can find detailed information on that subject. Next time try putting more information then your stuff is slow |
