Hi.
I ripped gladiator into the m2v stream and ac3 stream with smartripper 2.41.
After encoding ....at 23.976 in (d2v project in Tmpgenc) and authoring in spruce up ...I am getting about a 1.5 secomnd delay in video compared to audio.
The audio is a head by abt 1.5 sec.
Now the ac3 rip file said 0ms delay.
Any ideas?
You used Smartripper to rip it. Thats whats causing the delay. If you still have the .vob and .ifo files for that movie then you can re rip those files with the internal routines or vstrip. Dont use any other rippers to rip when using DVD2SVCD. You should also read the Q + A before posting as this would have explained the same thing. If you really have to rip something with Smartripper then try to use a version earlier then 1.40, it seems that version is the one that started to cause the most problems (thanks markrb)
DVD2SVCD cut right thru Gladiator with internal routines. very nice.
Well folks it was dvd2avi 1.85........version 1.76 works fine......
I thought probs would only happen if i used FORCE FILM .....nope, 1.85 has definite sync probs...without Force Film as well....
Smartripper not the prob ..I reauthored the orignal rips and they synced but title was too big to burn. |
