sur...i need to do it...
@Modo
Some cleaning please
i will post a screenshot tomorrow i think
three quot;panelsquot; : activex,cmdline amp; log....
the cmdline panel main target is for concatenation of rmvb files into a new one.... the original realeditor gui is too bad/poor about that
any GUI with the ability to control rmeditor would be most welcome, but I am sure it will be hard to make it work well. I have kind of postponed editing of RM files until the Matroska guys complete their editor, and then expect to have to transmux back and forth, but who knows what will be the most convenient RM editing solution in X months from now

nb : the links works now ;-)
nb2 : for the app : only loading of rmvb file works... you can select begin amp; end time
i'm still working on rmeditor.exe call...soon to be finished ;-)
then i will implement old panel :-)
Looks very promising!
p.s. you should correct the links (two of the screenshots are not there, and link to exe is a little messed up).
Gonna add it to utilities soon.
it's ok for the exe...the forum add [ucl] and me too :-)
btw it use dx9 to preview so realmediasplitter must be installed to work... (it's like a wmp6.4 included...not perfect but working)
A little bug report for New panel:
opened RMVB file L:\test.rmvb
RealEditor opens two windows:
D:\misc\producer\rmeditor.exe -i L:\test.rmvbquot; does not exist
and one window with quot;0quot;
then it says:
Can't read the video - install RealMediaSplitter.ax or use old panel.
I do have realmediasplitter.ax installed.for those who wonder... REVE is the french word for dream....i was dreaming i can make a rmeditor gui clone ;-)
and REVE means also REalVideoEditor
sorry for the quot;0quot; i forgot this message ;-)
do you have a message in log panel??
for realmediasplitter.ax i check in windows/system32 directory..is it installed here for you (under xp for me)
i check it because with directshow i can't read rmvb without it...and i can't read directly the rmvb file also so no preview :-)
D:\misc\producer\rmeditor.exe -i L:\test.rmvbquot;
the path of remeditor.exe and rmvb file is correct?
i wonder for the quot; at the end...will check...
i try it with one of my file
got that PastedImage.png
@damrod
can you add ing tags for the pictures? Also, edit your first post with the infos. People see the first thread when they open a thread
ing tag for the pictures?? what do you mean?i edit first post
btw i don't add the donate paypal
damrod: I keep all my manually installed .ax filters in C:\windows, since it is less cluttered than system32. I think there is no standard location for DirectShow filters. They can be put anywhere, as long as they are registered with regsvr32.
The message is
D:\misc\producer\rmeditor.exe -i quot;L:\test.rmvbquot; does not exist
sorry, it was just a typo in my previous post.Another little problem:
In the Old Tab, the quot;Selectquot; button does nothing, and I can not select a File Source.. Similarly, the quot;Addquot; button also does not appear to do anything.
the old panel is just button and edit field :
i implement nothing yet!!
i will find another method to test if rmvb are playable
via directshow
i wonder if i must add quot;quot; for rmeditor.exe path...dos command are strange somethimes ;-)
i correct some bugs
