Batch convert without ripping first? like, without, individual, possible, convert

Currently you must rip a movie to batch encode it later. I would like to be able to copy the whole DVD to my hard drive, then tag individual items (the movie, extras, episodes, etc) for batch encode later, without ripping them individually at that time.  Is this possible with the current release?  Thanks in advance.mdl

nope...I suppose another ripper would allow you to rip all vobs but then you risk audio/synch issues, etc.
