Movie doesnt burn beyond warnings.....
I've used DVD Decrypter a couple of times in the past with no programs. With this particular incident, I was backing up The Princess Diaries into an ISO image. Everything seemed to go along fine. I decided later to burn a copy of the iso onto a double layer dvd. I made the burn with no problem, or so it said. When I took the movie to the dvd player, it would show the federal warning messages and then that was it. No menu, no being able to skip chapters. Nothing.
I thought it was wierd and tried it with DVDXCopy and got the same result. Is this because The Princess Diaries movie has some sort of protection? Or am I missing something?
This is indeed strange. The dl disks is a fairly new product and the knowledge about them is rather limited.
I am moving the thread to the decrypter forum.
So you just disc ISO Read -gt; ISO Write
in DVD Decrypter 3.5.1.0 ?
Try posting a log if you have such a thing.

Yes, Decrypter 3.5.1.0. I dont have the log still with me, but I can try it again. And yes, I do ISO Read then to ISO Write.
So it was a DVD5 disc then - or you use +R DL media?
Are you on default settings within the program?
I am using +R Media. I was told that was the best route to go. And yes, using default settings. Going to try another new movie here in a moment. I will let you know how that goes.
So if it's just +R media (not +R DL), you must be burning a DVD5 movie. If you're not, no wonder it doesnt work. You'll only be burning part of the movie. |
