Twin Pass Encoding. to MV file or not MV file

Im using xmpeg4.5 with divx 5.02.
with twin pass encoding, what exactly does the MVbin file do? and whats the advantages/disadvantages of using it?

Okay, this should go in the divx section, but here u go:
It cotains some motion vetor data from the frist pass so they don't have to be collected in the second pass, which leads to a speed increase but could lower accuracy of the calculations which are done in second pass a bit.
