Overscan Area with 16:9 SVCD because, correct, depends

In this post showthread.ph...hreadid=21859, Gerti67 talk about the overscan area. But he doesn't talk about the DVD 16:9 to SVCD 16:9 conversion

Tell me if this script correct is ? (for pal)

Crop(24,16,672,544)
Bicubicresize(448,542,0,0.5)
AddBorders(16,17,16,17)

your script is correct, but one cannot say for sure how many lines/pixels the overscan area is because it depends on the TV set. Usually 16 pixels/lines from each side are not visible, but you have to test this on your own with your TV set.
