Able to play DIVX 5.2 file with 5.05 Pro? possible, version, example, videos

I was just wondering if it is possible to play DIVX 5.2 files with an older version installed? For example 5.05 Pro?

Yes, all videos encoded under DivX Pro 5.2.1 using DivX Certified Profiles should play under the 5.0.5 decoder.
