those that are interested in MS's stance on Linux(excluding all the F.U.D.) should find this an interesting little read.

hahaha no but read the quot;Microsoft Puts Money in Windows-Linux Integratorquot; story, especially the 3rd paragraph that starts quot; And that has some people sayingquot; and you will get the joke of the title.

hmmm i would have thought Neo Neko would have commented on this. maybe the title threw him.

*runs away before Neo reads this*

Oh nah. It was just rather old news. It is what they do. Embrace. Extend. Then crush utterly. They have tried everything else to crush this competition. Only avenue left open to them. And it will fail to. And in the end by acknowledging the competition in any way they will only strengthen it. They and Sun have been plotting alot lately.

Sun should BURN for their biased stance towards open source (which i believe is, that they arent that fond of it,)

Sun's current position is a bit confusing. I would not say quot;burnquot; them. They have been a company that has consistantly had innovation and brought to market some very solid and stable products. Unlike their current partner of choice. And they have also had rather good support which is also in contrast with their current partner. Frankly Sun is a company with a dwindling market segment trying to play all sides to see if something pays out. Anyone would tell you it is a poor strategy. And hopefully Sun's investors will notice this someday and call for a change of leadership.
