Very complicated framerate conversion
I've got the Monty Pythons Flying Circus as avis done by ripping the DVDs. Appently they only sell the DVDs in America. Therefore the avis have the framerate 29.970. As the original material is from british TV it were original 25 fps interlaced material (or 50 fps). Now I live in PAL Europe and want to convert the avis to 25 fps and in the end to PAL SVCDs. I would normally do Inverse Telecine on this, and simply speeding up from the resulting 23.976 fps to 25 fps. This I do using standard features in DVD2SVCD and some extra twisting ;-)
BUT because of the original material being 25 fps, converteed to 29.970, Inverse Telecined to 23.976 (I guess) I get some artefacts in the picture. In high motion it seems to be jumping as if some frames are dublicated. Hope you understand what I meen - motion is not smooth but jumpy.
I've used decomp.dll to do the Inverse Telesine as proposed in the help file of that dll.
Can anybody help me out?
Thanks
