Please bear with me, if these issues have been brought up before without me noticing. It's very hard to keep track of all posts here about this very cool program...
In DVD-RB v0.66 the skin feature was introduced, even though it's still possible to use the traditional Windows standard, which I prefer. BUT compared to the earlier versions (before the skin feature) it is now no longer possible to choose which (plain) background colour to use? It would be very nice to have have this function back in the options -gt; Setup window.
Also, and more quot;severequot;: When I choose to use a skin, I can see the new subtitle selection box on the main screen. A very nice feature, thanks for adding it. BUT when I choose the Windows standard (i.e. no skin), the box is gone?
for us old geezers accustomed to plain skins, it is convenient to have full functionality with interface that we have met first.
I don't know if it will come back, but here's a work around.
Launch an old version of DVD-RB in a separate directory and change the color to your preference. Then open the rebuilder.ini file and copy the BackColor=XXXXXX line in to [Options] section of the rebuilder.ini file for the new version of DVD-RB.
doesn't work properly. I have checked and there is ok.bmp in Skins directory, but it doesn't show. In Rockas mode, one can see audio to remove, subtitles to remove, all OK buttons are there. If you remember my post few days ago, I couldn't do Batch mode, guess what, GO button was missing.
I think this is a bug and should be fixed.
Another one (small) is if you click Batch Mode and than change skin, it doesn't refresh. Nid to uncheck and check it again to show Batch Window.
But again, nothing critical, just some cosmetics (and little functionality!)

Click on quot;Skinquot; and quot;Rewrite Defaultsquot; -- it will recreate any missing parts of the two default skins and the .txt files.
My guess is that the quot;loadquot; command has been accidentally deleted from the .txt file.
The BackColor= commmand works fine. I use it all the time. You have to restart the program when you change it.

Just did. Buttons appeared in Setup. First time missing OK in Batch Processing.
Switch to Rockas skin and no Batch window. Rewriting defaults didn't help. Just un-checking and checking again.
Same with Windows standard.
Is there a plan to embed windows in Rockas skin to Windows skin (audio/subtitles and RB-opt support)?
Thanks,
Maksa

I couldn't find that command in setup. I am using V0.67 and last version that has background color table is V0.64a. I think it is still something with skins.
Other problem is when un-select Output directory and it goes gray, when you select working directory, the output one displays previous value and actual files are put in working directory/VIDEO_TS. I gues it should show same directory as working.
Just my 2c.
@ maksa: As wmansir wrote, it's a workaround (hidden setting), which you have to apply manually, i.e. load the .ini file into notepad and add the parameter yourself.
jdobbs: Could you re-introduce the colour selection function in the Options -gt; Setup window that disappeared with version 0.66+, so that the background colour setting is no longer quot;hiddenquot;?
Also, as I wrote in my first post, there is a functionality quot;bugquot; when using the Windows standard instead of a skin in version 0.66aPR: The new, nice subtitle selection window on the main screen simply doesn't show if you don't use a skin...
Ok guys... I've finish the txt file that allows users to have the Rockas Original Skin merged with windows interface but unfortunatly I copied it to a diskette and the b@#§ broke down and I have the original back at work (don't tell anything about this to my boss )... anyway I'll try to upload it later on.
keep it UP
