Output by DVD-RB Bigger then Original

Hello guys 'n girls,

I've got a strange problem.
Last night, i've tried re-encoding Tomb Raider 2 as a test with DVD-RB.
Everything is set-up correctly (as far as i can tell), i'm using the latest version of DVD-RB (v0.66a), CCE SP 2.66+, EclCCE, AviSynth 2.5 and the MPEG2Dec3dg.dll.

The original size is 7.25 GB and the result of DVD-RB is 8.3 GB
The source is a PAL DVD (Region 2)

Anyone know what the heck is going on ??

Thanks in advance

Please men... just edit your post...

The only folder that you got to burn is the one called quot;Video_TSquot; not the whole working folder.

keep it UP

the edit was mine  since the man lost his property

Thanks for the first point

But ONLY the VIDEO_TS folder IS 8.3 GB.
I've checked the VOB's and in this case VTS_9 is in total already bigger then the original

If I understand correctly this is your first trial with RB.

If so, probably it is a installation problem.

Have you installed using Rocka's installer? or just following the guides?

Also, you mention CCE SP 2.66+ and EclCCE.
You need EclCCE only for the trial versions of CCE SP higher than 2.50 and for CCE SP 2.50. What version of CCE SP are you using?

Please post the content of your Rebuilder.ini file (you can find it in the same folder as your rebuilder.exe file

Thanks for the quick response.
I've installed using the standard guide i suppose since i've never heard of 'Rocka's Installer'
I've checked and i'm using CCE SP Trial Version 2.67.00.27
(thus not 2.66)

(The rebuilder.ini looks different now but thats because i'm trying QuEnc now)

The contents of rebuilder.ini:

There is not evident problems in your .ini file (at least for me)

Did you run EclCCE and when requested pointed it to the ccesp.exe file?

If so, the question could be the version of your MPEG2Dec3dg.dll file.

In this case, I strongly suggest using Rockas' RB installer. The RB installer can be found in the or in (just click into the signature of Rockas, the second answering post in this thread)

[Paths]
CCENEW=C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\CCE SP\Eclcce.exe

Are u sure u are using a trial version?
Usually the path should be:

C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\CCE SP Trial Version\Eclcce.exe

or is it a custom folder choose?

keep it up

by the way what's the version of your Eclcce?

Yes, the 'About box' clearly states:
quot;CCE SP Trial Version Ver. 2.67.00.27quot;
So i appearantly installed it in a custom folder

.. and for EclCCE:

EclCCE - ECL Support for CCE 2.66+ trial
File version 2.67.0.27
Product version 1.81

have you tested my installer?
don't forget that you'll hae to poit the path to EclCCE again on setup window and choose CCE mode... then you shall close DVD Rebuilder and start it again

keep it UP
