Problem with vsfilter

Look at the picture and tell me why I can't get the subtitle down to the black area under the picture!? The subtitle is diving under the black area, grrr.
Help please.

Simply because VSFilter draws subtitles into the video area. Solution is to enable 'extendend overlay'.

Thank you for your answer I appreciate it. But I can't seem to find the setting anywhere. Can you please give me directions how to enable this. I use vsfilter 2.33, MPC and ffdshow.

Extended overlay must be enabled in encoder/mixer not vsfilter.
Try to tell us precisely how U do it and we may be able to help

Well, I don't know exactly as I do not use VSFilter anymore. I am 100% positive there is a checkbox somewhere on VSFilter's property page that says quot;extend to 16:9quot; or something in that meaning.

Yes I got that answer from another forum also. But it dosen't work. I tested all the settings and... nothing.

Is this a mission impossible?

It worked fine before I formated my hard drive. Very annoying.

@ukendt: What? A little to cryptic for me.

My settings which I had before i formated my computer also:Ah. Maybe FFDShow is doing some quot;aspect ratioquot; woo hoo on it's own ... try different decoder and/or video renderer.
