I have a load of normal resolution xvid files, and i have a PocketPC thats capable of playing high bitrate xvid files but it only has a QVGA screen.
Which brings me to my question, obviously i cant play 720x576 movies on a 320x240 screen, so is there any way of quickly resizing a video without having to spend hours and hours re-encoding therefore losing quality?

No - at least I've never heard of such a thing. However going from 720x576 to 320x240 is already a loss of quality and encoding in such small resolutions shouldn take too much time. |
