size problems with very large dvd

hi,

a friend of mine created a dvd-image based on some video-camera recordings. the image constists of 2 big parts, that are about 10 GB together. the dvd includes a simple menu that points to these 2 parts. i tried to rebuild the whole image with dvd-rebuilder 0.72 beta using cce sp 2.67.00.23. the encoding phase seemed to work properly, i get 2 rather large m2v files of about 4GB. the rebuild phase produces some strange output, it looks like it aborted the rebuilding of the 2nd part at a certain point.

Here are some listings that might help understanding my problem:file listing of the original DVD-Image (VIDEO_TS folder):

i know 10GB is very large, and no normal dvd can reach this size, so this is not a usual problem. i would be happy if someone could help me anyway

The cells are too big.  It looks like the entire VTS is a single chapter.  You need to break it up in the original authoring process.

thx for the advice, i'll tell him to add more chapters
