Okay, since nobody knows, and I did post this on ProjectX forums... except I can't remember the website ucl now...

It looks like ProjectX actually does fix the video and audio stream as it demuxes them into separate files. So that's cool.

Usually when I load the .m2v (amp;.mp2) files into a program like Mpeg2Schnitt it would load them together and you get to play them - so you see and hear.

Sometimes Mpeg2Schnitt plays the audio-out-of-sync. That's very very worrying. However, after cutting and multiplexing them back together again it seems fine. So that's thew!

Like you said, they're just transmission errors being fixed to keep the streams in synch. Nothing to worry about, unless you get a whole load of them together.
