The Sigma-battle has been won by the open-source-community, I guess - even if Sigma haven't completely complied with the developers' demands, yet, the decisive thing was that they had to admit the code was yours! I'd like to see some lawyers sueing the heck out of them to get your rights on the remaining parts of the code, but well...
EDIT: This quot;linking over controlled interfacequot;-part of the license is complicated. Is it in effect like a 'lesser L-GPL'? It seems meant to help wider spread of use of XviD without giving up the strict GPL. Fine with me. EDIT(2): DXN ain't gonna like that, tho...
