alright guys, i got something here that i more crappy than every other anime. this is a pure croppy interlacing that i couldn't fix.
I have tried to fix it with (t)decimate but it couldn't be fixed.
I have then tried to deniose it womehow and the most frames got fixed, i think. But there are still some of them that couldn't be fixed 100%

I spoke too soon.
I made a project with DGIndex with Honor Pulldown Flags. Then I applied this simple script:

From about frame 130 to the end, everything is fine. From the start to about frame 129, there is blocking due to incorrect quant matrices. Probably when you edited, you cut off the quant matrix extension needed for frames 0-129 of your clip. That's another peril of editing MPEG that one has to worry about:
open/closed gops
orphaned B frames
missing quant matrices
repeat flags (watch that field order!)
I suggest testing an encode without any cut at the beginning, using the script above. This will ensure that the required quant matrices are parsed.
hmm.... so its possible to fix somehow^^
apropo DGindex, when i save a d2v file on the new version, than MPEG2Source can not load it (couldn't open or obsolete d2v file)..
You probably didn't update both dgindex (which is wherever you put it) and dgdecode (which is probably in avisynth plugin folder). That's why I put them in the same place.

Did you encode without cutting anything off the front? If so, post a VOB fragment that is not cut at the front. As I said, you are cutting off the quant matrices.
Are those the remastered dbz boxsets (ie. Dragon Box) from Japan? Because those are plain Force Film-able. But from teh looks of the excessive compression artifacts i'd say these are HK bootlegs.

The VOB he posted has no RFFs so it is not FF'able.
Then it must be bootlegs, cuz last time I worked with teh dragon box dvds, they were plain FF-able.

i dont have $1000 to buy the half of the serie from the japanese remastered ones
but i do have money to buy simpson dvds its cheap and its remastered exept the seasons 1-3. These are not remastered

And i didnt ask something about the simpsons dvd. I just needed help with interlacing of an inofficial box that could have anybody. The VOB file was only a sample to let the people here know what i want to.
You should know that every anime could have inofficial boxes with a croppy quality too. If i would have the official boxes by toei animation (in this case Dragonball) then i wouldnt post here a new tread. |
