How to use Pulldown.exe

On the step 5: Pulldown they advice to use Pulldown.exe.
1. I'd like to know if I can use Pulldown with MPEG1 file?

1) Don't know, just try it.

2) Pulldown sets some bits in the mpeg stream, that tell the decoder to produce the right interlaced frame for 2:3 Pulldown out of the previous progressive frames. (or was it 3:2 Pulldown? You know, the thing involving slowing down the movie to 23.976 FPS (what you have) and add interlaced frames in a 2:3 scheme without acceleration of the movie, so that it has a framerate of 29.97 fps an can be played on standard NTSC TV).
So, the use ist simple:

pulldown lt;source.mpvgt; lt;dest.mpvgt;. So it worked always for me. lt;dest.mpvgt; will be the mpeg stream with 29.97 fps.
