I'm no expert but no beginner either.I;ve ripped abyss and re-encoded but when I have the finshd disc it has shadows,e'g' when someone walks it looks like another 5 of him walking as well slow motion almost.
Any ideas people,any reply appreciated.
To add if you have ripped this film let me know it can be done and that will let me know it is possible,i don't like giving up!
the abyss is a seamless branching dvd
check the guide mpg/ifoedit-branchingnotes.htm
if you keep only the short version and one audio tracks and remove a part of the end credits, it fits on a dvdr, i've done it,no need to reencode
