DVD-Decrypter and multi-angle DVD

I have got a new multi-angle DVD, called quot;Ophthalmic Operation Viennaquot;.

My problem: DVD-Decrypter shows me the chapters, and each chapter has it's 4 angles, but all angles have different numbers, means angle 1 from chapter 1 is called 1, but angle 1 of chapter 2 is named angle 5. Som how can I rip only this one angle (or the second)? Do I have to select all angles manually??

BTW, Smartripper shows the angles correctly, so I can rip one complete angle with no problems. It shows the angles amp; below the chapters. DVDDecrypter does the other way round, Chapters amp; below angles.

Is there a way to select all angle2 in all chapters? Why do you renumber all angles with own numbers, why do they not have corresponding numbers?

I attached the ifo of this DVD, so you can have a look what is going wrong.

Thanks

Actually, I dont see any problem here.
I created a fake ISO image with the files you attached and had a look at it in DVD Decrypter.
You're probably getting confused having perhaps never seen a multiangle dvd in dvd decrypter.
If there is only 1 angle in a pgc, what is the point in showing it? In the gui therefore, it doesnt and just lists the pgc.
A few of the pgcs have 4 angles or whatever and so lists them as a kind of sub branch.
You should be selecting (highlighting) one of the angles if the pgc has them. If you dont, you'll rip all the angles and end up with a vob containing rubbish. I left that feature in however for the more advanced users who 'might' be able to make some use of it.
My program shows a true representation of the ifo structure, smartripper seems to make up its own little way of doing things.
You will notice that as you click around the pgc angles, the Cell numbers change and it may only list number 2, 3 or 4 etc. This is how its supposed to be.
Just try ripping and you will see that it all turns out ok.

Yes, i know that it does work, but I have to select all cells that belong to one angle (one per chapter) manually, speaking of chapter 7 containing an operation with 4 different angles with 12 chapters.

I don't know why Smartripper looks different, and I'm not experienced enough about ifo-files to say if it is doing everything like it is written in the ifo-file, but there I can select to rip all chapters of one angle at once, with only one mouse-click.

I write you these lines because I think that your tool is the better one in overall, but here for this certain issue Smartripper is more intuitive.

That's all I wanted to say, I know how to rip it (after having ripped 160 DVDs, I think I'm advanced user), just wanted to give you feed-back for future improvements in usability.

You really must be getting in a muddle here.
In the top box we have VTSs, PGCs and where appropriate Angles.
At the top level we have VTS. A VTS can have many PGCs. A PGC can have many Angles.

A PGC/Angle can have Chapters. A Chapter is made up of cells.

So basically it goes:

VTS -gt; PGC -gt; (Angle) -gt; Chapter -gt; Cell

The layout is exactly the same in both DVD Decrypter and SmartRipper!

By default, all chapters are selected and all cells that make up those chapters are selected.
Just click on the 'Angle 1' branch in the tree and hit the decrypt button.
Its soooo simple, I cant understand where you are going wrong - sorry.

BIG SORRY, it was really me the idiot, didn't see that the tree in DVD-Decrypter is dynamic and can be extended by pressing on the plus!!

SORRY, but thank you for your help, now found the angle-select-button.

Thanks again for reply,
sorry for nerving
