What's the Idea oc Converting DAT into MPG then load into VirtualDub
even though the VirtualDub can Directly load the DAT file!
in other words what's the benefit of using VCDgear (beside fixing mpeg files) !

any help?

Not all software can load .dat files. so depends on your setup.
