Encoding to Xvid using MPEG Mediator 400, everything, anything, however

I am trying to encode quot;Max and Paddy's Road to Nowherequot; Episode 2 into Xvid using MPEG Mediator so that I can play it on my portable media player. I successfully encoded Epsiode 1 which took about 10mins however Episodes 2 to 6 individually is predicting a time of over 400 hours! I fear this is an accurate time as it doesn't change from 0.0% for as long as I can stand it not doing anything. I am doing everything the same as I did for Episode 1 and so have no idea what the problem is.

Can anyone help? Both .VOB files for Episode 1 amp; 2 are about 900mb and are using the same encode settings.
