DVD2DVD-R Pro vs DVD Rebuilder Pro

).
Both are pretty similar, they are both one click high quality DVD backup tools, using CCE as encoder.

I'm the type of guy who likes to have total control of encoding options.
Both programs have this, you can simply add your AVS script, in order to make them behave the way you like.

With DVD Rebuilder Pro, I'm sure the files are processed in the right order, before any resizing or color conversion.
Does anyone knows if DVD2DVD-R Pro does the same thing?

From what it looks like, it does not. I started a normal quot;tweakedquot; backup and so far, the DVD2DVD-R Pro process order is:
Subtitles rip, .d2v, .ac3 and resized .m2v to 4490KB file creation, etc.

I don't like this at all, the .m2v file being compressed rightaway.
In other words, if I try to aply a simple Lanczos4Resize/RemoveGrain/UnDot function, it will be done on a already compressed file. This will result in poorer image quality.
I don't understand why the author decided to go in this direction, IMO is not good at all.

If anyone played with DVD2DVD-R Pro, I would apreciate his(her) feedback and any tricks to change this strange behaviour, or to confirm if my theory is right.

Thanks guys.
