Cannot find audio or video Data
that failure i receive when i try to encode a mpeg file with agk i never worked with this before. the video files came from my hdd digtial satelite receiver. its a topfield 5000 pvr which creates .rec files. i converted the file with rec2mpeg util and in power dvd and windowsmedia player they play without problems... when it ry to compress them using agk, dgindex says failure: Cannot find audio or video Data. CHeck your PIDs.
i press ok and it says No Data check your Pids then...
i have no clue about xid encoding so anyone can help me with this ??
the mpg doesnt have subs and only one audio source
Can you post a link to a fragment of the MPEG file? Or upload it to my FTP server and tell me the filename?
I'm guessing that the video stream ID is being written as something other than 0xE0.
hi im uploading a sample file right now
will be finished in 25 minutes
check: SAT.1-CH-1.mpg
It's a transport stream. If you open DGIndex directly (not through AGK) and open the file, you select Stream/Detect PIDs: Raw. Then highlight the video line and click Set Video. Then highlight the audio line and click Set Audio. Note that there is no PAT/PMT in this stream.
So it's fine using DGIndex directly. Therefore, over to len0x for AGK support.
so i have to create d2v file manually ?? sucks ... i9snt there an option to automate the process.... i have lots of movie to encode
I'm just saying it appears to be an AGK issue. Let's wait and see what len0x has to say.
Transport stream files have to have TS extensions. AutoGK can't automatically recognize them otherwise (and therefore invokes DGIndex from CLI without PIDs set).
So just rename it as quot;whatever.tsquot;.
ok so i just got a view quetsions.. it seems to work ouuuuhwee
but i got two audi streams. one says private ac3 audio stream the other is mpeg audio stream...
which one should i take... and what is better vbr mp3 or cbr or the aurtomatic for sound encode.. i use bitrae 192 kbit.. why the hell there is no lame alt preset standard mp3 encoding included ?? thats far the best afaik
noone who could help ???
I'm sure somebody in the Audio forum would be able to help you with your audio questions. Why don't you ask there? |
